Hearing screening during the 2025 trip to Nepal

Back to Projects

In April 2024, we launched one of the year’s most meaningful initiatives: the Sounds of Nepalproject. We did so with the belief that hearing health should have no borders and with a strong commitment to offering real solutions to those without access to audiological care.

We traveled to Kathmandu, where we carried out hearing check-ups and fitted hearing aids for children living in foster homes run by the NGO Dream Nepal. We also provided care to incarcerated women in Sundara prison. This intervention was made possible thanks to the efforts of our volunteers and the direct involvement of our president, María José Gassó, who personally took part in the check-ups.

Sounds of Nepal is not just a care project: it’s a long-term commitment. We’ve planted the first seed of an ongoing program that we aim to grow year after year to transform lives and offer new opportunities through hearing.
